New features and enhancements

• 3ds Max 2011 support
  • Support has been added for 3ds Max (Design) 2011, both 32bit and 64bit.
  • A Ribbon Panel has been added for 3ds Max 2011's Ribbon interface, offering quick access to Brazil utilities and Bonus Tools. `]a0z|2'!  
    
  • Material code has been enhanced to provide support for 3ds Max 2011's node-based material editor.
• Submitting through the Sashimi rendering bonus tool to 32bit servers from a 64bit 3ds Max session has been further improved.
• Accelerators Tester
  • The Accelerators Tester now tests the kD-Tree Accelerator in the Professional-Stable and Rio editions of Brazil as well
  • The Accelerators Tester now disables/re-enables network rendering if switched on to prevent network jobs from being sent out. L-%'jR

Bug Fixes

• Deficiencies in the code of the Advanced, Utility and Toon materials caused blank or degenerate material and map slots in the third party NodeJoe product - this has been corrected. ( our thanks go to Eric Craft for testing and the NodeJoe developers for their assistance ) `O`MW} c

• The Area Light Mesher, if cloned, would cause the original object to be adversely affected due to an apparent 3ds Max quirk. This has been worked around. ( our thanks go to Gavin Greenwalt for the report )
• The Set VFB Background Image bonus tool would cause a 2D environment background such as a Bitmap, after running, to be set to Environment:Screen mapping due to an ancient 3ds Max quirk. This has been worked around. ( our thanks go to Simone Nastasi for the report )
• The 'Modified CNS' available through the Protocolor bonus tool was lacking the "lime" color quotient, causing colors to be mis-identified. This has been fixed and the 'Modified CNS' generator source code has been amended.

Miscellaneous

• Minor UI updates were made to Sashimi, Custom Kernel Glow/Blur, Simple Exposure and the AreaLight Mesher to prevent text falling away in the smooth font display of 3ds Max 2010/2011.
• The Communications Center script now delivers version-specific updates.

Installation

• A new option to enable/disable the 3ds Max 2011 Ribbon Panel is available in the Custom installation type. *Rxn3tR7  
  
• The Bonus Tools now self-install to the 3ds Max application data folder to prevent performance issues with loading user scripts from low i/o performance devices, such as across a network.
• Brazil v2 for 3ds max 9 through 3ds Max 2009 requires the Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL update in order to install. The installer will warn you if this update is not present on your system and offer a link to download+install / find more information from Microsoft. This update is not required for 3ds Max 2010 and 3ds Max 2011.
